Arshile Gorky Biography

According to the Guggenheim's biography of Arshile Gorky, Gorky was born Vosdanik Adoian in Khorkom, Armenia on 15 April, 1904.

The Adoian family became refugees from the Turkish invasion of Armenia, causing Gorky to leave Armenia in 1915 and come eventually relocate to the United States in 1920.
